ARTSTINKS™ is a small-batch candle company. Our mission is to celebrate and support artists we admire by making beautiful, limited-edition candles featuring their work.

Don’t be fooled by the name—we think art rules. But this ain’t your mother’s candle brand. We’re here to have fun, promote cool artists, and put a great-smelling piece of functional art in every home. 

Not all stinks are bad, baby. Especially not ARTSTINKS™.

They sure do. Each artist is paid an up-front collaboration fee just for agreeing to work with us, plus a portion of every candle sold that features their artwork.

Hand poured right here in Denver, Colorado. We use natural soy wax, organic cotton wicks, and CleanScents® fragrance oils to provide the highest quality, safest, longest lasting, and prettiest candles we can.

As often as we can, but never as often as we’d like. Our aim is to release art by at least one new artist every month. Sign up for our email newsletter or follow us on social media to make sure you don’t miss a drop. 

Short answer, yes. 

We use a premium soy wax blend that is gluten free, toxin free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and features very small amounts of food-grade paraffin, which helps with burn performance and aesthetics. Studies have shown paraffin to burn as cleanly as soy, beeswax, or palm. Check out this study to learn more.

We also use organic cotton wicks and CleanScents® fragrance oils in all our candles, which are manufactured without organ toxins, acute toxins, CMRs, phthalates, and ingredients on the California Prop 65 list.
