ABOUT THE STINK

We designed this scent by going to Red Rocks Amphitheater and sniffin' seats. Just kidding. We thought to ourselves: what kinda scent goes perfectly with a beautiful summer night? And we came up with BACKSTAGE BONFIRE.

Top Notes: Clove, Earth, Bonfire Embers
Middle Notes: Pine, Embers, Tonka Bean
Base Notes: Cedar, Moss, Musk

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
  • Trim wicks to 1/4" before burning.
  • Burn for 3-4 hours for the first time, until wax pool reaches the edge of the vessel.
  • If flame is too large or starts to smoke, extinguish and trim wick 1/8", then relight.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Stop burning when there's about 1/2" of wax left in vessel.
  • To save the jar, freeze for 24 hours and use a spoon or butter knife to pop frozen wax from the bottom. Wicks are glued to base; use pliers or simply cut the wick away and leave metal bases in the pot. Repurpose as a planter or pencil cup!

ANDRÉ LIPPARD

We found André's work at First Friday Santa Fe Art Walk about a year before ARTSTINKS™ was conceived. We thought his stuff was just so f*ckin cool. Denver landmarks, PB&Js, strange and wonderful surrealist portraits. The breadth of subjects and styles was amazing.

André studied at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, where he completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2000. He's since focused on drawing inspiration from the geographical beauty and cultural richness of Denver, and we couldn't be more pleased to have him as part of our debut lineup.
